TO STOP THE INHUMANE CRUELTY TO WOLVES....

SIGNATURE GOAL: 5,000         SIGNATURES COLLECTED 4,236

Target:  General Assembly Environmental Issues (The United Nations General  Assembly/President USA Barack Obama and Congress and UNSECO

The worldwide human encroachment on wild areas, the ever growing agriculture and hunting industries, political fear mongering, and long endured fairy tales and legends-the iconic, majestic wolf is being pushed to the edge of extinction.

We the signed, want the United Nations to recognize, respect and encourage the value of the wolf worldwide and recognize the threat of impending extinction.  We encourage all UN participating countries to manage wolves at the highest governmental tier.  Enact special protection of the wolves against brutalization  and persecution for political agendas or for purpose of monetary gain.

In the USA, we want President Barack Obama and Congress to relist the gray wolf into federal protection permanently at this point in time because they are near extinction or may already be extinct and they do not report all the killings to federal agencies from people who poach.

1.  Ban all pups from being gased in their dens and put in sacks and smashed on the ground until dead.      Also being bow and arrowed in their stomachs which causes such painful deaths and suffering.

2.  Ban the use of all small dogs and cats and other small live animals they use to bait the wolf then gut      shoot them.

3  Ban all hunters from raising and breeding cats and dogs for this purpose.

4.  Ban all poaching, any hunters or person should be charged to the fullest extent of the law and lose their
     license to ever hunt again.

5.  Ban all trapping and snares which cause torture and excruciating pain to an animal

6.  Ban all recordings of pups to lure the wolf to come to their help only to face gut shots.

7.  Ban all the sadistic killings of the wolves with any kind of poison or other means that would
     slow deaths.

   8.   Ban the use of helicopters chasing the wolfs until exhausted then shooting them not always killing        them leaving them to suffer until death

9.   Ban ATV's and snowmobiles on chasing the wolves until they are exhausted .Then the hunters run over
      them and shoot them.
10. States where the wolf is delisted have poor management and do not consider breeding pairs and kill only the healthy
leaving the weak and the old to reproduce.
This is inhumane and cruelty to animals.

There are many writings from biologists regarding the wolf one  being Gordan Haber of Alaska, who has written time and time again about how important the wolf is to the eco-system and other wildlife.  The wolf never kills the healthy in a pack of elk of moose only the weak and old leaving the healthy to survive and reproduce.  The hunters are the ones who kill and over hunt the healthy not the wolf.

The great love we have for our dogs, a love that leads people to risk their lives for their pet I have done atleast on one occasion, is perhaps a reflection of the early pack between our species.  Even the wolf seems to have kept some promise, for the wolf is the only large predator that does not attack humans.  Despite the benefits we have reaped from this pairing, we deal wolves mostly death instead of  the respect they deserve.  If the wolf is to survive, we must pay our debt.  Lets hope that, we find it within ourselves to share again, to ensure that the wolf will forever have its space.

Help save the wolves...

Help wolves from extinction
Wolves are close to extinction as most of you know. they are killed for sport, fur, to keep up deer population, and as simple as killing 1 animal on a farm. just like in Wyoming 16 wolves died for one lamp. Quote From the Jackson Hole News and Guide:

“Solutions proposed by conservation groups, such as using flagging and guard dogs to scare wolves, won’t work in some open-range situations, Jimenez said. Killing wolves is the only solution, he said.”
thats what they said. if you guys were hungry and you haven\'t ate for days and you saw a lamp on a farm land would you kill it. i think 99.9% of people would. and if animals had more land and food you wouldn\'t see this as much. you say wolves are killers were not much different actually i take that back we are worse then them. wolves like you know kill and we kill them for doing that. this is what law says to us 2 wrongs don\'t make a right. and when they kill its bad, when we kill animals its a different story. Sarah palin is a big supporter on this.
watch this videohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CX5wSxgbGuM

Please help instead of watching and complaining about the wolves dieing. when you can help to prevent even if there is no way we can stop this at least you can say i was there i helped and i was there until the end. add as much people as you can. 1000,000 i know its a lot but as you see its not stopping with 100,000 we need a army to stop this. please help before its too late.

SAVE THE WOLVES IN AMERICA
the petition site

Most of you would sign this without me saying any thing but ill say something anyways. Most wolves are killed for fun, fame and, greed. they are killed with poison, traps, and guns with people that cant even shoot straight makes a very painful death. populations so low where the president or somebody should step in and say we need to save these animals. But no its greedy people that wants money. wolves are killed to rebuild the populations of deer. Are you kidding me. deer has been around for along time and we still dont have a problem and, the thing is if they would use there brains wolves kill the week so a hunter would get a better chance of getting a strong deer. if they dont follow the law of saving endanger animals why do we have to obey any rules. save these creatures and send, share what ever you usually do, and hopefully one day these animals will be saved.sign my other petition please http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/wolvesneedyourhelp/and also my group http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=152233834802263

The Voice of the Night...

Meaning does not lie in things, Meaning lies in us...

"Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn.
The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back into our hearts.Love is the essential reality and our purpose on Earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not lie in things.
Meaning lies in us." ~Marianne Williamson♥ {Wolf in the willows}
International Day of Native American Massacre...

"With all things and in all things, we are relatives."

We should join each other in remembering our fallen brothers and sisters on this day.
I will be lighting my candles in their memory and their honor, each and every one...

Trail of Tears....we should not forget.

The United States Government, unable to conclude an agreement with the fuly aurhorized leaders of the Cherokee Nation, signed a treaty with a minority faction willing to cede the last remaining portion of the original Cherokee homeland on December 29, 1835. Despite the protests of the overwhelming majoroity of Cherokee people, the fraudulent "Treaty of New Echota" was ratified by the U.S. Senate by only a single vote on May 23, 1836. The Cherokees were given tow years from that date to remove to the Indian Territory. When the time had expired only 2,000 of the nearly 17,000 Cherokee remaining in the east had departed their ancestral homeland. In late May, 1838 General Winfield Scott and 7,000 federal and state troops arrived in the Cherokee Nation to enforce the removal. Cherokee families were forced from comfortable homes into 31 stockades and open millitary stations scattered throughout the Cherokee Nation in Southeast Tennessee, Western North Carolina, Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama. From the stockades the Cherokee were sent to the principal emigrating depots near Ross's Landing at Chattanooga, Tennessee, jfort Cass, near Calhoun, Tennessee, and a camp eight miles south of Fort Payne, Alabama.
In June 1838, the first three detachments of Cherokee captured by the Georgia Guard were forced to depart from Ross's Landing, Tennessee. Because of the gigh casualties of these frist groups, permission was given to delay the removal of the other groups until fall when it would be cooler. Also, the Cherokee leaders petitioned General Scott that they be allowed to conduct their own removal. Permission was granted. The remainder of the Cherokees began their trek west in the fall of 1838 in 13 detachments. After enduring an extremely severe winter, they arrived in the West in late winter and early spring of 1839. It has been estimated that from 2,00 to 4,000 of the 16,000 Cherokees dies as a result of the forced removal.
The true story of the forced removal for the Cherokee people is one of survival. In spirt of their hardships, they adapted and rebulit their homes and government. Only 12 years after removal, the Cherokee Female Seminary opened on these grounds as the first public institution of higher learning for females west of the Mississippi River.

I am but one voice...I am their voice...

If each of us would join in and fight these anti-wolf, government control freaks and sign petitions to save these beautiful creatures, we just may win the fight. I am against the cruel and inhumane trappings and killings of these creatures. They are not vicious....they are creatures of habit.
We fear what we don't know....
Wolves are the most misunderstood creature and for that hundreds, thousands of them lose their lives.
Wolves don't hunt us, we hunt them. I oppose the wolf hunts and I am "Howling for Justice."

Spiritually, we are one.
